Lure companies

Guys,

I have seen questions, and responses about lure companies...all great help.  I even have wondered how many cavities a person needs to be productive and to be feasible to keep up with demand etc.   Learning the more you have the better.

One topic that hasn't come up or I haven't seen,  how many bags of lures do you need hanging around to keep up with demand.  I take pride in matching colors, and keeping my customers happy.  With that said,  I am looking to put my lures in a few stores this year...and try to keep a week turn around as my goal.  I have filled orders of 100+ bag orders 6-8 lures in a bag with a week turn around.

This all started as a hobby and now it has turned into a challenge for that bigger boat....haha!

Mick.

I too started as a hobby but  last year we put them in 1 store. We ran 3500 bags from April to Sept through that 1 store Mostly tube. I have 10 tube molds and run about 15 bags an hour through my little shop. I am sure I could have run more if I was running more then one bait style. So we put it to a test this last few weeks running 3 styles of baits I have been putting out about 50 bags an hour in production the microwave gets no rest. The one thing I have done for this year is limit what I produce and focus on 6 main colors for my area. I will do personal orders in whatever color people want but for retailers keep it simple
