Glad this went over so well! As I pulled the mold apart I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw how well they came out. It would be obvious that I poured the purple first, but that's not what happened

It took me a while to figure this out. With a good bit of trial and error, I core injected, pouring the black first and followed by injecting the purple. IDK how to explain why pouring the black first works, but it does. With consistency I might add. This is only the 2 cavity mold and I shot flawless laminates 4 times in a row. Not sure what will happen with larger cavity molds, but I hope this adds to the bag of tricks and helps some.
If anyone is interested I will add the recipe when I get home. I can't remember it off the top of my head with enough confidence to know it's right, but I know I used chameleon and black grape for the purple.
