Lake Fork Chunk
« on: 04/03/13 15:05 UTC »
Caught this beauty back in Feb but haven't had a chance to post
here.  She came in at 9lbs 8oz.  Caught her on a GYCB kut tail in
22' of water.  Put up a really good fight.

I so wish that was the case but we weighed her on 2 seperate scales
& they both settled on the same weight.  That DD still eludes me.  My
fishing partner & I both thought it was a DD but that scale doesn't lie.
I even took mine home and put a 10 pound weight on it hoping that it
was off, but of course it wasn't.  I'm still smiling ear to ear over this one
though.

TRUTH!!! I set the hook & immediately called for my bud to
get the net. Ha. It's such a great feeling to know that it's
a big one the second you set the hook.

Are the two marks on the locator in the second pic this one's brother and sister or are they just jumble?

A pic like this will Andrew getting airline tickets. Nice fish.

Just jumble.  Wish it were more fish.  We only turned that on to see how deep of water that fish came from.
We weren't able to graph any fish because at that time they were holding too close to timber.  Just had to
put together a pattern of what timber that were holding on and in what depth.
