swim fry laminate
« on: 10/07/13 12:57 UTC »
With the help from Walleye Wacker I was shooting baits again today. Does anyone else us the laminate plate for the swim fry?
I have done 2 shots and both are not coming out how I want.  The first is after shooting the tails is there a trick to removing the plate while keeping all the "fingers" of the tail in the mold?

I shot one time fast and one time, I thought I went real slow but both time the first (tail) part seems to flip or roll in the mold or even lift. Just kind of strange. Any thoughts are welcome

Hey Brent.. Try cleaning the plate then wiping the laminate plate down with a little worm oil.

Brent the swim fry is a tricky one for even one color to get it fill the tail . But i use BT twin injector for my two color baits. The worm oil helps. mike
