Yeah, I saw that yesterday. It looks super interesting and I'm going to give it a shot after I order some hooks.

Me too... my bass bugs are pretty crude by the standards demonstrated here.  (It's a good thing bass have crude brains, otherwise they might not eat some of the stuff I throw to them.)

I'd tie that right on the 1/16oz jig, pretty much the same thing but the head is poured on rather than being a bead and lead wire. I like the idea of using soft hackle for the body, a lot of ideas from that, thank you for posting it!!!
