Rookie!

Hey guys, my name is Derek and today I achieved monumental success. I poured my first plastics ever!! It was great! I recently purchased the 3.75 mud bug from ccm and those craws really look good. I have been reading your posts for weeks now, and just wanted to say that it sounds like there are a lot of good people on this forum.  I'm sure I'll need some good guidance as I experiment with new molds and colors. Thanks to ccm for the great transaction and look forward to doing more business with you! :D

Welcome Derek!

I think you find the forum very...very helpful....and CCM products very...very good...and your results will far exceed your expectations....at least that has been my experience so far!

Make sure you read...and follow all the safety posts! It's a great hobby....but you need to do it safely!

Welcome Derek!  It's a wonderful feeling when you get your first successful pour out of a mold......even if you've been doing this a long time and it just a brand new mold!  ;D

Stay safe and if you have questions don't hesitate to ask.....you probably already have heard there are no dumb questions.....well take it from someone who has asked a lot of dumb ones the people on here will answer and help in any way we can.  So, ask away, stay safe, and ENJOY!
God Bless!

Welcome to the forum, and the world of injecting baits.  As the others have said; you will be amazed how good of a bait you can inject with CCM molds.  Do make sure; as others have reiterated; you follow all safety procedures.

Welcome aboard, Derek.  Congratulations on your first pour.  You can use that same mold and make hundreds of different baits by using different color combinations.  Let your imagination run wild.  Check the forum often and read and re-read all the safety stuff...it's important.  I'll look forward to your posts.
Until next time.

Thanks everyone! Dave you are correct. Making these plastics is almost as addicting as fishing itself. My wife will have to drag me out of the garage this winter! I have been painting my own crankbaits as well, so this fall and winter has been really fun. Once again just a big thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
