E-core Rods
« on: 06/21/17 11:04 UTC »
Found these at hobby store and they work great for E-core Rods. Approximately 7" long, made of aluminum, and come in multiple diameters. Already have tapered points on both ends. $5.00 for a pack of five. Bottom photo shows the ones I use in my 4" Senko mold for E-core.

Pretty cool. There are a couple molds that this would come in handy for with the pre tapered ends.

Knitting needles work great for breaking up hard pack colorants also.

Doubly so... after poking and jabbing with a point, the other end (or another needle) can be flattened and bent/twisted to use with a cordless drill for blending.

I finally broke down....went over to Walmart and bought some knitting needles....cut them to size to fit my 4" Essential  Series Senko....and I'll  be darned...it worked perfectly !

SUPER EASY!
