Toad mold

My squaw loves throwing a Zoom Horny Toad.  I got a Bigfoot frog from Do-It and don’t really like the way it swims. What are y’all fellows using?

I don't use them for largemouth bass but I didn't like the way the toad swam with the thick legs either, so I filled one side of the molds feet/legs with JB weld to make them half the thickness. Now it swims awesome and the walleyes and smallies crush it.  I fish it on a jig head.  I dont know how you bass guys fish them.

I did the same and thinned the legs. Just make sure you don't do the vented side of the mold. I like the Big foot over the horny toad because it has a wider body and doesn't want to roll as much. I also make the other frog Do-it has. It has the paddle tails for feet that almost give you a buzz bait effect. So in heavy cover I use the Big Foot and open water or where the weeds aren't to the top I use the paddle tail. Both great frogs and fun to fish.

I use the 4" Croaker from Do-it and the Toad from Del-Mart molds.  The Toad is as close as you can come to a zoom horny toad...a little lighter in weight but if you like the horny toad this is one to look at.  The sight shows a picture of the hand pour but no picture for the injection...I have the injection and it works real well.

Thanks I’ll look into this one too. I was told also that the Enforcer toad is very similar. Do any of you have experience with it?
