Here are the rings of bologna. 19 of them in the 25 pound batch. Judging by the flavor of the small patty I cooked using the meat left in the bottom of the stuffer and packing tube these are going to be some superb dining this winter.

We've had them with kraut for an evening meal. Cooked over a campfire and served with good baked beans really makes rings a treat. Heated and sliced as breakfast meat is great too.

Breakfast sounds good cooked with some onions and fried spuds with eggs on the side.

One year on an annual trout fishing camping trip one of the guys packed in some deer bologna and sticks. Threw the large cast iron skillet on the grate and prepared it with fried tatters and ramps (wild onions). Add that to fried eggs and camp coffee can’t be beat.
