First air brush
« on: 01/15/18 20:02 UTC »
Well with all your guys help I got a few jigs airbrushed.
Don't know if the fish will like them but it was fun and can only get better, I hope.
For anyone starting a few things I learned.
Read, read, read. If you think you have enough light, get more. Have lots of cleaner (make your own) and lots of paper towels.
Experiment!

Sure they will. Fish are far less fussy than the tackle maker.

And you're spot on about the light. And reading. And cleaner. And the paper towels.

Great start! A heck of a lot better than my first ones!

If those are your first ones I can't wait to see what you're able to crank out after more practice. Very nicely done.

Use windex to clean the airbrush it is cheap and it can be reduced with water

Thanks.
Been using 2/3 windshield washer fluid, 1/3 isopropyl alcohol and a drop or two of glycerin seems to work really well. May try some windex next time as I read that works well also.
