Gold paint

What is the best paint to get a shiny gold finish on a blade bait?  The nickel blanks have a great chrome shine to them but the bronze ones don't have that shiny look

I’ve heard the brass blanks can be buffed to a shiny finish. I’ve yet to try it though.

Buffing wheel or jewelers cloth will put a mirror finish.
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

Some brass blade products are lacquer finished and buffing might result in some issues and require a lot of polishing to get a clean finish. I ran into this with some polished brass French blades and could have done well not having the problems. Check a blade first to see how clean it buffs.
