Midwest Finesse Rig
« on: 03/20/18 11:38 UTC »
Our newest addition to the growing library of Do-It soft plastic molds –the Midwest Finesse Rig mold –an 8 cavity mold that compliments one of our hottest molds - the Midwest Finesse Jig mold is now available!  Those of you who have fished the Ned Rig already understand the fish catching command these baits have. They stand up straight when on bottom and several different actions can be achieved by adding softener to these little fish magnets.

I had some great days chucking these up on sand flats on some of our interior rivers last summer while testing them.  A Midwest Finesse wiggling in their face through the sand with a little Hawg Sauce was too much for summer time smallies and walleyes to resist.

In the words of the late JerryV - “Try and throw that in Volga Lake and get it back.”

The Midwest Finesse Rig mold is now available by calling Jordan at 866-984-3648 and will be available for web purchase at www.do-itmolds.com later next week.

That's a 1/4 oz version of our Midwest Finesse Jig mold that we released at ICAST in 2016

That is a sweet jig mold Lamar. I cast up a couple hundred of the heads for samples and they went in a hurry. They are really catching on with the walleye guys around here.

Any ideas on how much softener to add per 8 ounces?

This is a bait that needs an essential series version.

If you're not fishing it then you need to. It's one of those baits that just works when the bite is tough. And not just on small fish either. The last few years we've finished our limit out a few times on this bait. Don't over look it.

It's a pretty good drop shot bait also!

Can't wait to get mine ordered it this week. Just wondering how some of you are going to get it to float so when you have it on the jig the back end stands up. I use do-its plastic and it sinks so the bait won't stand up.
