Midwest Finesse Jig

Hi
This Midwest mold, is it possible to use 570 hooks in it?
Ofcourse i understand if i have to modify the "pointy" end of the mold.
Will it still stand up uf i use say 2" curly tail or do you need that big chunk of plastic?
Anybody tried something like this i hope..

Yes...I use them for longer bait like the Boss Hog type baits.

The EC 370 series hooks work fine. 500 series EC...the Lil Nasty hooks, will work fine. Matzuos will work if the stem from shank to eye isn't out of wack and too long.

This mold is pretty versatile as far as hooks go and there are a pile that will fit it. Its a great mold and it fills super easy.
