First of all.Thanks for the forums on here Jason.I haven't ordered yet from CC,but will be in the near future.Looking forward to some of your molds.I have been looking for a fluke type jerk bait.Can anyone help.I saw the one at LC and tried to get a sample from them to see what it looked like.But haven't received one from them. I am learning the hard way about buying molds then there not to my liking.It gets costly.

Welcome! We have a Wutz-It which is similar to a Fluke. You can also order sample baits or ask others on the forum to make you baits.

I saw the Wutz-it.I have been drooling over it for some time.It is going to get ordered soon.I was looking for a forked tail on it like a fluke.Any chance in the future?

My most popular bait I make here is a trick worm.I make them so they stand up on end with floater bubbles.I have a guy going to use them on Lake Toho this weekend in one of the big tournaments.I want to try and get the same affects from a 5 inch WUTZ-IT I get from my trick worms.

Actually the Wutzit with the straight tail makes the bait move more eratically. Baits with the forked tail acts like a rudder and the bait pulls straighter and not to the side as much.

I have fished the Wutz It and the Fluke. The Wutz is a better bait - more action. It also has a shimmy shake when you let it fall naturally.

Are you talking about a horizontal, or a vertical oriented forked tail? There is definitely a difference in the way the bait will behave between these two styles.

I have been looking for a horizontal fork tail mold.Like a Zoom fluke.I have a twitchy minnow mold from Bears it swims great and easy to pour.The watz-it will be the next one I try. I see it as having more potential to do more.And it will be something new down here.

Look the baits over close that Jim sends you. You will find that the Wutz-It is a well designed bait that Jason spent time on designing, testing, and redesign, and retesting, before release. I too found it VERY frustrating to see a picture of a mold and try to get a sample; to no avail, and the bait not be what you thought it was. Now; If I can't get a test bait somehow, I will not even think about buying the mold. Jason sells test baits as a service to his customers. Something, I for one, am very thankful for.
