Fried Crappie

I went fishing this morning and had some success so I wanted to try a recipe per a you tube video (Lake Fork Guy).  He didn't offer a breading recipe so I stuck with one of my favs.  Anyway, fillet and skin the crappie and place fillets in a bowl.  Cover with Franks original red hot sauce and let marinade for at least an hour.  While the grease is heating up I added equal parts flour, corn meal and fine panko crumbs to which I added salt, pepper and garlic powder.  Dredge the fish (do not pat dry) in the breading and fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side.  If you are not into spicy foods have no fear it is not spicy at all but the flavor of Franks comes thru nicely.
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.
