I would lie to know the difference (in action) between the jigging rap and moonshine?

I've been swapping out the trebles on jigging raps of walleye size for a long time. I like the short shanked light wire hooks as replacements. Islip the split ring on the open hanger and give a couple three wraps of fine, soft copper wire to close it and add a drop of epoxy to weld the copper up.

Way too many people associate jigging Raps with ice fishing or very cold weather fishing....they're a great bait all year long.

Good video Tommy, thanks for sharing. When I change hooks, I normally have bloody fingers.

Action wise - the shiver minnow flutters a little bit and tends to dive faster - making it's trajectory sharper.

Thanks Tommy, I really haven't had much luck with the Moonshine and only limited luck with the jigging rap.

It's really a matter of hit or miss. You can bounce them for 3 hours with no luck, then hit the mother load!
