Here Mike....this link has a ton of examples of the color.

https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=purple+weenie%2fmegabass&id=90174897B566275715EACFACA2A9A0E13DD6CDDA&FORM=IQFRBA

and here's the Rein's site....    https://www.reinsfishing.com/products/

This looks to be a purple ghost color with maybe a light or thin colored purple core. The reins page didn't want to fill very fast for me so I didn't get to look at all the baits using the color so there's possibly more to look at.

The Bing link has a ton of what's called purple weenie colors. Interesting stuff. Reins has some unique tackle shapes.

I'd start with clear and use plain pearl powder, then add a very small bit of white with an even smaller amount of yellow to tone it to get the base color then add violet hi lite for the purple sheen. I haven't seen anyone's actual recipe for a ghost color, as they are referred, to like this. Do small, controllable batches until you get the base color then add the hi lite. There seems to be a small yellowish tint to the pearl, hence the very small amount of yellow to the plastic.

Chartreuse might even be a better color than yellow but it would take a super small amount to tint the pearl color to what you see in your picture. After looking at it again I think I'd try this with chartreuse. Click on your picture and it'll expand and you can see why I suggest the chartreuse over yellow.

the top one in the picture is the Reins and the bottom one is mine.
I can't seem to keep the green color. It's amazing how much the violet hi-lite browns it up.
Any suggestions?

This recipe is:
4oz plastic
3 drop green pumpkin x2
Toothpick dip of chartreuse x2
Some pearl powder
1/2  of an 1/8 tsp of super hi-lite violet

Your's is the darker color? I would try reversing the chartreuse and green pumpkin to see what happens. A bit less hi-lite also.

I like yours better, but if you want a match, it looks like more green pumpkin is required.
What mold is that?

Are you using a thermometer?

Also, are you trying to match the color of the bait at the beginning of the thread or the one to the left in the second picture?
