ES Beaver Bug woes
« on: 02/10/19 17:05 UTC »
My friend Kevin and I have started molding pladtics.  We are having trouble with the ES Beaver Bud filling out.  The first 2 or 3 injections go fine, then the claws are only about half way filled out.  We have tried shooting a little cooler than 350 but still won't fill out.  Any ideas appreciated.
We gave the ES 5" Senko, 33" Ripper, and 5" Jerkbait and are having no problems with them.

Try a little worm oil

I have not used this mold, but when I had troubles with the Ring-it not filling, the key was to get the plastic hotter and inject slower... (you should only need 5 - 10 degrees more, but watch your plastic so you don't scorch).

I agree with WalleyeWacker and efishnc. Brush a little worm oil in both halves of the mold, warm the mold some and shoot with a little hotter plastic. Injecting slowly and holding pressure for a few seconds should help a lot. Here is how I warm my molds and injectors:

Good luck!
