Tinkering with different colors

After having been awarded some free time in the evenings by upper management and some warmer weather I’ve had some time to tinker with a few colors and styles of pouring. I ended up making a pop mold of a 3” stick and a 6” grub too.
That is a 3” grub included for comparison

Some tubes in green earthworm/tomato pumpkin. Top one is a do-it, the middle one has a skirt from the mold spline, and the bottom one from a skirt mold
I really like this green earthworm and how it transitions from brown to green in the light

And more mayflies.

Our stocked rainbows and brook trout here in WV are huge fans of a pink/white combo.

Those earthworm colored mayflies are nice. I don't do a lot with pink/white, preferring the natural colors but maybe I should be trying more of that  combo.

Trying to get a good laminate with the mayfly using foil as a divider is challenging since the appendages don’t always fill out. I found that keeping the plastic a bit hotter than normal and warming the mold helped out. I also found that by loading the half sections into the non vented side (worm oil is your best friend here) then shooting the second color (the side with the little indent or pocket) made a world of difference.

Is your earthworm color from MF or Lurecraft? Sounds like a color-changing

The green worm is excellent in both the worm and mayfly - and I do like the pink mix!!!  That green would be good in a Mo's grub too!!

it is an MF color called green earthworm.  I doctored it up a little with a few drops of pumpkin and 2 drops of motor oil.
