Fishenstein baits

Decided to make my own slimed down version of the Gary Yamamoto crawling grub using my 3” twin tail grub mold and a skirt mold I have. My hope is I’ll be able to increase hook up numbers fishing a few local streams that hold many 10-12” smallies. The regular size GY is a producer for sure but I’ve had many a missed hook sets due to the bait and fish size ratio.
While I was pouring and using the plastic welder I had some GY 3” sticks I cloned from a POP mold laying out. So of course they got mixed into the experiment too.
I laid a GY bait at top for comparison.

I'm a big fan of "franken-baits".
