MicroPad

I found this little critter hiding in a box of baits I made maybe 8 years ago. The other baits were toast, but this little dink held up pretty darned good. This guy would have been made using Caney's Crystal Clear soft, an ice bait for the body and a Jacobs paddletail for the donor tail. I made a mess of these and fished them on 1/64 and 1/32 heads, but gave up on them due to a lack of action [just too darned short]. I caught fish but I was after a bit more wiggle. The Thump-It has a much thinner web between the body and tail proper so maybe its time to renew a bit of playing with this concept?

Its a cute little dude for sure....sort of on the order of a 1" Slider bait.....just better.

You just need Do-it to make a micro ripper. ;)

There's an idea DF. Its hard enough getting them to consider a 2"- 2 1/2" Ripper.

micro size of bait’s are hard to come buy because a lot has to do with the size of tooling bits and CNC equipment I would think but I could be totally wrong.
