I like it!  That would be a great summer steelhead color around these parts.

Thank You Bro!

I think I could have used Pinches for some, if not all, of the flake.  I think it could use a little more.

Nice color.  That would make an excellent crappie bait or a back on a laminate as well.

Thank You, Sir!  Been surely thinkin' about using this as part of a laminate...I received 7 plates yesterday morning.  Jason hooked it up (!), I've got plates for all the Carrots that I have, down to 2.5" so the Sacalait better get ready.

I'm thinkin' a Light Pearl White for the Belly with this color, or maybe I'll "bite" off of a color that Yawl Pro's use with a Pink...

Man.....I'd pick up some chameleon colorant and do about 80 drops to 6 ounces, add the same glitters and a touch of violet hi lites....maybe adda half dozen drops of hot pink transparent too.

I have a friend who has this thing for pink crappie plastics and showed him this color yesterday. I got so giddy I was beginning to question his masculinity, it was sad.lol Now me, pink makes my skin almost crawl. Give me blue or purple. The only pink color I like at all is chameleon and it doesn't stay pink in the water, so.....

So yesterday my buddy also saw the recipe I suggested and asked me to shoot some small fries using the one I came up with , with some changes. I used red, blue and purple string glitter instead of the colors you show. I have no idea if the purple will wash or hold together. I did 25 drops of the chameleon, 20 drops of hot pink and 2 drops of white in 4 ounces of plastic and added some red hi lites, not much. This is what I came up with.

I'm not going to say I'll be filling a box with this color, but I might have to try a few baits in it to see if there is something to this pink thing. I am almost tempted to run this atop a plain chameleon belly to see if I get a two-toned chameleon effect in the water. I'll finish these with 4mm red eyes and a dip.

There are times Pink really produces.  I don't know if it is a fry hatch or what.  Several hard core Crappie fishermen always have a good supply of baits that are part pink anyway.
I personally have found them to produce better in clearer water on brighter days.  My brother was a big fan of pink in a crappie jig.  75% of his jigs had either pink or a light red somewhere.

Found this old pic of mine floating around the Planet...brought it back home.  It probably hates me now.
