Updated: Ok guys and gals here it is. Met with the orthopedic surgeon today and it appears that my acl has been gone for awhile now and I have fresh damage to both meniscus. He gave me 3 options. 1 no surgery, do physical therapy and live with a jello knee. 2 do minimal surgery clean up the meniscus, live without the acl, physical therapy and live with a jello knee. 3 full on surgery where they use a cadaver tendon or part of one of mine for the acl, clean up the meniscus, physical therapy, and be more stable. The later has a 10 day down time and 6-8 months for full recovery.
I’m leaning towards 3. Any thought or anyone have any first hand experience?
Btw, ordered mold #1 with laminate plate yesterday.
