How does one go about plating the jig heads?
Silver and Gold colors.
Such as Trout and Crappie magnets.

Probably have to find a company that plates metals professionally. Try doing a search for "pine plating", a Minnesota based pater in Pine Island, MN.

When I still ice fished I went thru a period where I preferred gold plated jigs over any others. I looked into the plating stuff but figured in the long run I was better off just buying what I needed. I can't begin to imagine how many of the gold plated #12 and #10 diamond jigs I went thru and finally found sources where I could purchase them in un-packaged quantities much cheaper.
I'd think today's Asian markets would have just about every head design imaginable available in gold plate. Maybe have to dig a little but .....
