I called Denny tonight and we had a good chat. Lots has changed for him in the last year. Memory issues after hid heart issues have been a big thing, but he still remembers many of those who he met at the first Get-Together. He's not making any baits since his memory would be a big problem and he's talking of selling his molds and operation. I was lucky to have seen his work studio and it was nothing less than impressive, so I understand his sense of loss there. He cannot boat any more either and I think that bothers him a lot. BUT, he was in good spirits and was his normal, "full of it" self tonight so the call felt good.
He said to say "Hi" to all of you and threatened to stop in and post something tomorrow to that effect. At any rate, Denny is still forging ahead and Rosemary is still in the background giving him for whatever, lol. It was good to hear his voice again. Its amazing how long its been since he and I spoke and we promised to not let so much time pass like that again.
