Pouring baits is a new found hobby (got my first molds from Caney Creek late January) and am enjoying coming up with new color combinations. I teach 7th grade math and have many students that love the outdoors and love to fish. I have been giving many of my baits out to the students that have been going above and beyond as an incentive to not only work hard in the classroom but also being positive role models to thier peers in the hallways, busses, and lunchroom. The past month this has made huge strides for many of those "struggling" both academic and behavioral students.
I have used pouring baits to show that they can take their passion in life, use their education, and create a buisness out of what they love to do. That is what started my website
www.bluegrassbaits.com. I published my site on Saturday. This is the first site that I have ever created so don't be to harsh about judging it.

My students are really excited. I have students that check the website daily looking for any updates on it. I have also posted a "wall of fame" and have posted pictures of their fellow teachers with the catches they are excited about. I now have students emailing me their pictures that I will be posting on their.
I will implement anything I can in my classroom to keep my students engaged and excited about learning. Implementing these baits and my website has done just that.
I guess you all didn't want to know the life story of the website but just thought I would share..Sorry about that.
