Who on here makes and sells?
« on: 03/01/12 14:03 UTC »
Hey guys,

Who on here makes and sells the 5" carrot, md3xl, and the mudbug?

Additionally, who makes and sells any other soft plastics? If you have a website can you post the link?
(I think it is ok for you to post a link to your website on a thread, not sure, but I'm sure Jason will interject if there is a problem in doing so...)

I may be taking a short break from making soft plastics. As such, I would like to see who is making the baits that I use because I may be in the market in the coming weeks....

Thanks guys!

Nick

Pouring baits is a new found hobby (got my first molds from Caney Creek late January) and am enjoying coming up with new color combinations. I teach 7th grade math and have many students that love the outdoors and love to fish. I have been giving many of my baits out to the students that have been going above and beyond as an incentive to not only work hard in the classroom but also being positive role models to thier peers in the hallways, busses, and lunchroom. The past month this has made huge strides for many of those "struggling" both academic and behavioral students.

I have used pouring baits to show that they can take their passion in life, use their education, and create a buisness out of what they love to do. That is what started my website www.bluegrassbaits.com. I published my site on Saturday. This is the first site that I have ever created so don't be to harsh about judging it.  :D

My students are really excited. I have students that check the website daily looking for any updates on it. I have also posted a "wall of fame" and have posted pictures of their fellow teachers with the catches they are excited about. I now have students emailing me their pictures that I will be posting on their.

I will implement anything I can in my classroom to keep my students engaged and excited about learning. Implementing these baits and my website has done just that.

I guess you all didn't want to know the life story of the website but just thought I would share..Sorry about that.

Everything about that is awesome!  Teachers like you are worth their weight in gold.  I hope your endeavors are blessed beyond your wildest dreams as you touch not only the kids you teach, but their families as well.  Awesome job!

"Baits For Sale"

http://www.caneycreekmolds.net/index.php?board=6.0

It's not widely used like I hoped it would be.  If you sell baits you should talk your company up a little and post a link to your site.
