I have a dozen or so quart or pint bottles that I fill after pouring the plastic from the 5 into an ice cream pail, then use a funnel to pour into the smaller bottles.

This is what I do too. Just make sure you get it all mixed up well before hand. Then the night before I just shake the bottle and get it all mixed and let it set so the bubbles work their way out. I don't make as much as some of you guys so 2 1/2 gallons last me a long time.

I don’t get a chance to pour very often so when I do pour it is a lot for my friends, brother and myself. I leave the plastic in the pale / mix well and pump it out as needed. Normal batch is 1 cup.

A 5-gallon bucket would make mixing a lot easier than what I have, for sure.

I use MF and their 5-gallon containers have a small capped hole on top.  I bought a Helix-style paint mixer for a drill.  Trimmed the plastic fins with flush-cut nippers just enough so it went through the hole.

Scrape any hard-pack from the bottom with my trusty piece of 1/8" x 1/2" x 30" aluminum flatbar then run the helix paint mixer for a while.

Once mixed I replace the cap and spout...spout has a 1/4-turn ball valve.  Pour directly into a measuring cup then dump into my saucepan.

I got my 1-gallon helix paint mixer from Home Depot.

I use a steel sheet-rock mud mixer that fits in a 1/2 chuck drill. This thing is aggressive and will literally throw the plastic over the top lip on a full 5 gallon pail is not careful. This thing eats up hard pack in a minute and gets it re-incorporated in two, but I usually blend for about five minutes. Like Lamar, I do this one day, then give the plastic a rest, using it the next day or two after.

Use the same as TOM to mix plastic.

BKJ I tend to like MF container because the square is easier to pick up and shake. I made a mixer with threaded rod and washers for MF container plus I like the pour spout.

I need to order both super soft and essential plastic.

CTom, a steel sheetrock mud mixer was my first thought but I just went the route of the helix, on not much of a whim.

Years ago I bought a 5-gallon bucket of hardener from Bear, not realizing I was about to get True Hardener 🤣🤣🤣
That stuff was somewhere between mayo and peanut butter 😳 ...and, in true not-aware fashion, I made sure it was mixed...with a steel sheetrock mud mixer.

Dubya Dubya, I definitely like the MF containers.  I would prefer the handle on top be a little more substantial, though 🤣 'cuz I've long-since torn it off 🤣🤣🤣
My helix mixer came shortly after the handle's destruction 😁 ...the handle is only for carrying, apparently 🤣
