For Bladed Jigs: On my molds with the vertical eye orientation I cut the hook flush to the body at the bottom and connect the blade. I think close the eye of the hook back up with pliers. I have never had a hook open back up or a blade come out. If the super tiny slit on the hook bothers you you can coat a little Devcon 2 Ton epoxy on it (I stopped doing it because I have not had any issues since the blade runs at the top of the hook and it takes a LOT of pressure to open the hook eye up!).

You must be referring to "Bladed Jigs"  Not Blade Baits...

I’d love to see what you do with it for bladed jigs. Should be pretty cool.
