The original E-core holiday

Now that the pinnacle celebrations for the winter season are over...

Does anyone (besides me) remember holiday the E-core actually debuted on Do-it forum?

And if so, how did this presentation parallel the holiday (besides presenting near its date)?

The earliest posting I can find is 2-13-2017, the eve of Valentine's Day. It was referred to as the "true core". I guess I don't understand the parallel business of the second question.

Well done, comrades... it was indeed Valentines day. 

The second question simply referenced the colors I used to coordinate for the occasion... which spurred my (tongue in cheek) suggestion that this could be a suitable gift for our ladies as a zero calorie option over chocolate.

Since I have a new creation up my sleeve, I thought there would be no better introduction than on the anniversary of the original, so I started this thread is simply to get the E-core fans salivating for another Valentines day special... for now, I'll just toss out a few appropriate light-hearted witticisms, saying that his new technique should be love at first bite; and those waiting in anticipation will have to do so with baited (bated) breath...

The E-core has been one of my favorite innovations discussed on this site.

I remember the days when the tail mold was introduced and we all thought it was a big deal!

Nice touch... I can see this having particularly good sound when inserted in the ripper (as well as other swimbaits).

Hopefully I'm not hyping this new production method too much because it does have its limitations, but where suitable it adds a little extra eye candy to the baits.

Although the method might be new, that does not necessarily constitute that it is improved...

E....not related to e-coring so much but that mold you used for your first baits shown is a nice mold isn't it. Makes a super bait. I have the same mold. There are times when these baits just work better than anything. I know walleyes like them.

I think you and I both got that (prototype) mold at the second gathering, I was tickled to find all that Do-it offered to us crafters at that time... neat mold for sure and I'm curious how it might be yet modified before its official release... (kinda surprised HQ has held onto it as long as they have).
