Dual Injector?
« on: 01/22/20 11:46 UTC »
Do you have to purge the air when using a do-it dual injector? I always do my single hand injectors, but see lots of videos where they don’t. I thought about the dual, but if you have to purge the air aren’t you taking a chance on the tips coming off? Thanks

When I have the injectors full, I invert the whole thing and stand the unit on the injector knobs, attach the blending block and carefully push down until plastic is visible in the dual nozzle from each injector. Then I inject.

I purge the dual injector the same as the single. The tips will stay on if everything is up to temp. It's when the plastic starts to cool that it can force the tips off.
