It will work. You could also with a duel injector  do what they call milking the cow where you remove the bar between the push rods and do short pauses. I've done that and it works well also.
I'm thinking i'll try the "milking the cow thing" to try to match berkleys red shad power worms.  I think that would be about as close as a person can get easily. What do you think Lamar?

  I think the biggest mistake most make with that method is not matching the temps of the two colors. If they match then they will flow at the same rate.

Smalljaw, i've saw the cblock. I'm thinking the milking the cow thing will work pretty good. I'll probably end up with a c block sooner or later though. Thanks

  I have the c-block and personally do not care for it. I see pictures of guys using it but mine never come out that way. I think to two colors need to be really different or they mix to much into one color. Just my opinion

It's easy to see that the colors really need to contrast a lot just like laminates to really look good in my opinion.

Take a single injector, mix up 2 seperate colors in your cups, pour layers in the injector, then inject.
