(aka coach dog)

My favorite Bomber pattern as a kid, even before I knew what a coach dog was...

Awesome work efishnc. I have bee thinking about doing the same thing. Did use pins to create the dot cores, or did you use a small tube to cut the dot cores?

Thanks!

No pins (other than the center one)... I punched out the auxiliary cores with several different tubes (of sorts).  The first couple I did with spent .22 shells, but it was kinda hard to hold/control these with hotdog fingers, so I looked around the garage for other options and finally decided to cut off a marinade injector needle for the job... (I have since ordered many more)... the key is to have a sharp edge to cut the plastic instead of mashing it.

I thought this was going to be a Valentine's Day release, bud. Ya see....make something fun like this and it just can't be kept secret. And it ain't red, as in a Valentine.

Still pretty nifty and just proof you have too much free time on your hands.

This was one of a few "E(xtra)-cores" I have up my sleeve... this was not the V-day special, that's still to come.

And as far as having too much time on my hands, that is definitely NOT the case... my brain is always running like a dog fighting against a leash, so sometimes I drop the leash and let it run.

Those are Rad :D

Back in the mid 70’s-80’s, “Speck rigs” had similar color patterns to that(double jig worm rig for Seatrout and Redfish) We tore up some fish with those.

I believe it... "Rad" is definitely a term from the 1980s.

Some glow powder in the core would look cool with this technique.

Are you thinking to do this with a white body or black body (or just in general)?

Any color. I think with your E(xtra)-core idea, being able to shoot a glow tail and have glow spots on the body would look awesome.
