essential series worm & beaver molds ?
« on: 02/11/20 12:16 UTC »
Does anybody have the essential series 7" ribbon tail worm mold & the essential series beaver bug( sweet beaver) molds? Does anybody have good close up pics of lures these molds produce?  I have a few essential series molds now & have been very satisfied with them, but don't have these specific molds & the main purchaser of my stuff saw them & is wanting some of them.  I thought about selling 2 enforcer medium ribbon tail worm molds & 2 enforcer FL11 fluke style molds & purchasing these  or possibly doing some trading if anybody was interested.

DF thanks. The bridging of the tail is exactly what i wanted to see.  There are some nice hog & beaver style molds out there, but i've always found the tail to be the weak link to me.I can't stand for a tail to be so thin they fold together in the bag or when fishing .  I like them like a super hog tail for that reason  that way i can leave unseperated which is how i fish them 99% of the time. If  the fish want something instead the  glide on the fall then i'll  seperate, but not until them .   Thanks     David, how do you like the worm & does it remind you of a berkley worm? Thanks      Looks like if i can get these molds sold i'll be buying some of these.

I don't see it looking like the Berkley worm more like the old Culprit with a thicker tail. I'll take a pic tonight and put one up or PM me your number and I can text it to ya. I only shot some in red for a Grinnell getter for some buddys.  ;)

I love the Essential Beaver mold! The back has a nice "slot" for the hook to rest in and you can just bury the tip of the hook in the plastic to make it weedless.

If I am pegging the weight against the body I normally clip off the small point head (that kind of looks like a sinker) and peg the sinker to the body.

David thanks. I not real wild about there not being any taper from the body to tail section or is this an optical illusion? In the store pics it looks lie it has a good taper, but your pic with it hanging doesn't. Does the tail get torn off easily? Thanks

I believe my pic is sideways there. If I go home at lunch I'll take another one.
I have yet to fish it but my buddy's seem to like it.  :-[
