Hit em hard with small fry

I have been absolutely covered up in work but I had to take some time out today to get me some 8)  Shooting docks with the 1.75 small fry. Fish were in 6- 10 fow hitting the jig as soon as it hit the water. You really had to close the bail before the jig stopped or you wouldnt feel the thump. It sure was nice to get out and hit em hard. Brought home 47 for the freezer and dinner tonight. Last year I guided everyday for feb,march april and may and it was great to be on the water everyday but my bait business took off and I cant do it this year. I sure miss being on the water everyday but you cant rely on fishing for a living on a corps controlled lake as they like to lower the lake a few years to the point of only a couple of ramps being open and my home lake it to big to make 15 mile runs to the fishing holes not to mention all the gas.
