clear coating spinner blades

I'm gonna try dipping my spinner blades in KBS Diamond Clear for my seal coat. I would love to hear from those who have done this. When hanging after dipping are you using metal hooks or do they stick to the blade after the clear coat has cured. Maybe plastic hooks?

Play with some paper clips  and bend them to make two hooks, one for the blade and one for hanging. Be sure you tap the edge of the blade where the excess runs to, to get it off before the dip sets up. If this stuff is thick I'd go with the CS Seal Coat as its thinner and will slip right to the edge for tapping off.

If it's too thick... Portion out some for the blades and thin with xylol/xylene to your needs and apply 2-3 coats.... Dab the drips before they set up.

I've read quite a bit of info regarding KBS Diamond Clear. It's supposed to be thin enough that it will drip off and not cure with a big drip on the end. I will definitely have the thinner that was mentioned  on hand to use if it gets too thick. Paper clips were the first thing I thought of to hang the blades, was just concerned about them sticking to each other.

Too much clear adds thickness, And robs action of the blade.... Less is better if you can make it hold up.

Been using Etec with pretty good results. It's just time consuming to get complete coverage. Hoping that dipping will speed things up a bit and get complete coverage both front and back.

KBS works way better than any epoxy for blades.
