I'll assume you have the stone variety of mold. Short answer, no.

DON'T use any cooking variety of spray as a release agent. The plastic is hot enough to cook the oils, leaving a sticky film. Personally I use a shot of WD-40, then lay the mold half face down on a paper towel for a minute to allow any liquid to drain away from any ribbing. I'll give the mold a touch-up with WD every five or six injections. WD helps but honestly it doesn't do a ton, but its better than not treating the mold.

I don't own any of those molds, but I assuming worm oil doesn't work?

Baitmold's website offers a "grease" said to use as a lubricant in the stone molds, but I can't see it working without filling up tiny details and ribbing in some of the baits. I just give my molds a shot of WD, dry the mating surfaces after allowing any excess to come out of those small, tight areas, and inject away. I would imagine that silicone spray would do about the same thing as long as its a colorless spray.

I use worm oil, but you have to be careful not to use to much and you have to repeat application after about ever third injection.

I do the same as Gary brush worm oil lightly and don’t have any demolding issue.
