Denny Welch

Lines asked if anyone had heard from Denny recently and that kicked me into high gear and I gave he and Rosemary a call.

Things are changing some for our California friend. He had a minor vehicle accident a while ago and after a doc's evaluation the state pulled his drivers license so Rosemary is his dedicated chauffeur now. He still has his boat but it hasn't seen water in several years and his truck is on a sales lot. With his memory issues he hasn't felt comfortable going back to his injection and casting studio, a place that any of us would die for. Carole and I are lucky to have spent several days with them a couple years back and when I saw his work area I about fainted. Its huge and has one full 24 foot wall with four foot wide cabinets, shelved with ten to twelve full width shelves FULL of nothing but molds, mostly Do-It products. He and Rosemary worked side by side making baits and lures for their tackle company, Believe Baits.

We had a nice visit and Denny asked that I tell everyone "Hi" and that he hopes to get into the forums here to post soon, maybe tomorrow.

And Walleyewacker, he asked me to call and deliver a message to you so I'll be giving you a shout tomorrow.

I’d second that DENNY, Tom, Andy, Gary, Terry, MJ, BKJ, CC1 were some of the few in the beginning.
