The crappie spawn is in full swing here. Heres how i started rigging a few Thumpers. The extra flash of the blade has been working well.
Love catching these colorful spawning males!

Im in Louisiana. Our water temp is already getting close to 70 degrees.

Wow, the water temp here in Colorado is 42 degrees. I wish it was warmer here so the fish'in would pick up.

Water temp was 48 this morning and visability about 6 inches. We've had a lot of rain in the past week...the lake rose about 12 feet and it looks like a giant mud puddle.
