My pet head color is transparent purple with .004 blue glitter in it. On a bare head it loops purple in one light but turn the jig and it will look blue, or almost blue....which is what I call the color. Love the stuff. Yesterday I mixed some purple-blue-red color shift pigment into a small batch of the almost blue to see if there was enough dark in the purple powder paint to allow the color shift to work. Here's what I came up with.

Of course we'll see the purple and if one looks carefully they'll find the blue glitter. The camera's filter screws with this image because where the brightest reflect is on the heads there is a perimeter of red, then an intense blue. More intense than just the paint with the blue glitter. A little closer study will show just a hint of the red playing n the lighter areas of the surface. Its pretty striking in the hand. We're still at minus ten here, but later today I plan to tie the larger of the heads on and drop it in the creek behind the house to see what it does for color shift as a lot of the change is more apparent in the water.
The jigs are 1/32 and 1/24 out of the #3506 mold. Both sporting the Mustad "skipjack hook in #6. Before using these I'll reduce the barb size by about 3/4.
