Two questions...

First about dipping for eyes....
Can you wait till the bait cools to put on eyes and dip the bait back in plastic, or do you have to immediately put on the eyes and dip the bait while it is still warm??

Extra plastic...
While transferring the injector from one mold to another while injecting, what do you do about the loose plastic that accumulates around the tip of the injector?? (I ask because sometimes when I go from mold to mold the loose plastic sometimes gets caught in the hole of the mold causing a clog which in turn causes incomplete baits)

Any suggestions??

I'm new to pouring myself, but I do know that you can dip your baits at any time. I just dipped 20 or so that have been sitting in a drawer for a few days.

As for the extra plastic on the injector, I assume you can just wipe it off with a towel and reuse it without the excess plastic getting in the way.

You can set your injector in the plastic and let the tip get warm before you start injecting.  This is the easiest way I know to keep the plastic from building up.
