I know that smell and is it a bit sticky? M-F was like that for me once.

I swear it had something to do with it in the microwave.

Does it happen with Presto Pot batches?

I don't know as I stopped using M-F when I started using my pots.

Update

So its not just a couple strands of the mold.  I guess at the time of original post, it was just a couple strands but obviously they were just the first to go.  As well, all sizes of eggs I have made from 8, 10, 12, 14mm eggs have changed as well as egg clusters, Trout worms.  Still only happens with the transparent baits.  I have a couple bags that have lost almost all there color:  They started off to what looked like perfect and now have next to no color.

After reading Jason's post on Plastic 101.  I am now making sure my temperature is 350 or slightly more.  I am quite heavy on heat stabilizer as well as Im always working with flouresents etc as that is what is required for Steelhead, Salmon.  Going to try less of this as well.

The baits that have turned color are oily, and smell as well (I dont add scent).

BCSteely, I've been through ALOT with this, and I have learned a ton.  My system is about where it needs to be.  What You're experiencing is from "uncooked" plastic...it's not going through it's change that has to happen, that happens when all the plastic gets to 350, and slightly above surely won't hurt.
