Do you add the colorant prior to heating or after?

BCSteely...how is the problem varying?  Is it "one extreme to the other" (crystal clear or opaque as in the pic) or are some baits between the 2 extremes?

Pretty much what you see in the picture.  I add fl colours prior to heating.  I use a few drops of heat stabilizer in my re-heats.

There is no shortage of moisture where I live, considering we get upwards of 20-30 feet of snow in the winter.

I cut a few sample in half and they are opaque throughout.

Are the baits that are clouding on the end of a string away from the sprue?  If these are 14 mm; It is not just the 10mm size that are having the problem?
Put the string from the picture on a paper towel out in the sun ( on a car dashboard ) with the windows rolled up and see if they clear up.  If so it's condensate ( my guess ).

Mostly 10mm as that is what I make the most of but has been happening on 12mm and 14mm.  My 12mm and 14mm are 40 cavity and 5 per string.  It is always an entire string of eggs that turns.  They are clear when they come out, but over a period of time, usually a few weeks, I wake up, and bam, they have changed.  If they were coming out of the mold opaque, I would not package them with the clears.

Of note, I have a couple other colours: MF Jelly Red (transparent but doesn't bleed) and Dels Shock Orange (Transparent but does not bleed) and am having no issues with them changing colour.

There's your variable....!

An alternative solution:

Set all the eggs aside.
In a couple weeks sort them by clear and cloudy.
Anyone can make clear ones...so sell the cloudy ones at a premium! (can you tell I'm a marketing guy!!!). Call the "eggs and sperm".... or "fertilized eggs"...or some other cleaver..."value added" name!

Wonder IF that works or not? Go to the vending machine and buy the bag of broken up pieces of pretzels ...and pay more than if you had bought a perfect one!

Heck it worked for the salt in plastic scam! Replace the "expensive" plastic with cheap salt (in our business we call it a "filler") and charge more for them because there is salt in them and the "bass hit them better"! Ohh....don't you worry that it makes the baits so fragile that you can only catch one fish per bait....you can buy more!

(And... I'm betting worms and minnows don't taste salty...).

Or just find another colorant!

(see...I was right! It was onyonlyx !!!)

If you are ONLY having the problem with the one color.....and the other colors are fine.....The only variable in this whole thing is...the Red colorant....correct?

Jason...you're right, Andy is way too expensive, but I'm not.  I work for molds instead of dollars.  What say you sue him for something and take away all of his onyonlyxs (or is it "es").  My retainer would include everything on my "wish list".  Please give me a couple minutes to update my "wish list".
Until next time.

Leave it to marketing and Legal to come in and "enhance values" without doing anything constructive   :D  :D
Have you called MF and asked them about  the problem?
It takes time before it occurs.  It effects all the eggs on one string, but not another string that is right beside it.
Are the baits subject to freezing temps?  It is possible that water that is  "suspended" in the baits; is "freezing out" and discoloring due to cold.  This is something that happens with some nylons.   When you said "I get up one morning and they have clouded" ( overnight I assume ) makes me wonder if it is a cold temperature triggered thing.   But; why one and not another packaged with it?

Marketing and Legal!!!  ;D

Jim, That's what I was thinking as a possibility, something with heating and mixing.  I just find it so strange how out of X strings all shot at the same time only a few are impacted???
