What's with this heat? Again.

10 days ago we were at the cabin to mow and they had freeze warnings at night. 60 degree highs. This was right after the first stretch of hot. It was right back to misery and upper 80's with high humidity last Weds while we packed to return home. We've had one reasonable tolerable day since. Maybe an inch and a quarter of rain in the last week but we're still 5" behind on the rain.

I just finished mowing. I hand mowed the yard around the house while it was cooler earlier then finished with the tractor on the portion of park I mow and the tractor was hotter than hand mowing. Thank God for cold water.

  My daughter lives in Minneapolis so I always watch the weather there. The last few years the summers have been hotter there then here. She flew in last weekend and told me she had to come south to cool off. I guess science is real. I have another like a daughter just moved to Portland. The siding on the back of her condo warped from the 115 degree heat. Tomorrow is 72 here and calling in the low 80's all next week. I'm ok with that.

Here in Michigan it has been Hot and we got over 6" rain in the last week . Today is not to bad humidity has dropped . Weather over the 4th weekend looks nice .

Speaking of heat, out here in beautiful North Western Montana it reached a wonderful 107.5 yesterday in our town!
