Lurecraft (now owned by Lure Parts on Line) has similar molds and Fat Guys Fishing also has some good ribbed molds.

I just unwrapped the mold and will be shooting it tomorrow. Love the more aggressive ribbing. First up for me will be junebug/chartreuse tail and pro blue over pearl red hi lite.

I'm with you. Getting ready to order this myself. Do-it molds are awesome. I'm willing to pay for a good mold. Isn't that what I'm looking for ?

Right Lamar. Ya, these guys have this and these guys have that and all for less. If ANYTHING isn't right with a Do-It mold I know it'll be covered. That's the Do-It way. And Lamar.... the mold is AWESOME!

ill grab a fat guys fishing rip shad, 8 cavities for the same price, and the best customer service in the business. i have personally talked to the owners on the phone when they started making injectors and they took care of my issue, listened to my ideas and implemented them in their injectors. they will also customize a mold if you want it (i want a ned jig mold with a lead keeper, they will make it for me on any of their ned jig molds). Doit is a good company but no way they would modify anything they make for a customer.

What do you mean by more aggressive ribbing ?  Ribs closer together ?

The ribbing is deeper than the Ripper's ribbing, more in line with something from Keitech. I'll be shooting the mold this afternoon.

I only fish baits I make. Except crank baits. That may change soon. It just crakes me up when guys pay thousands of dollars on fishing equipment and worry about a couple of hundred for a mold they can make thousands of baits with. Can't wait to fish it.

I am in the same camp on this... other than cranks, I'm all about my own creations... and for now, I'm resisting, resisting, resisting the urge to get into that aspect of bait making.  The only hard baits I fish with any regularity are jerk-baits and lipless cranks, and I have a pretty good supply of both right now; plus, I don't need ONE MORE distraction in my life right now.
