Hi folks,

I decided to drop in and introduce myself here finally.  I'm Mike Murphy (otherwise known as Cuda), and the founder of Jigsquad.  Besides managing an Instagram page that focuses on the jig designing community, I run a twice monthly live show on YouTube.  I interview jig makers from around North America about custom jig making, with a focus on flow, color and design.  It's an interactive experience, with live chat and hopefully a setting that builds a sense of community for everyone.  All are welcome, and we've got designers involved in Jigsquad that span the gambit from bass or crappie all the way to saltwater design.  We all can learn from each other, and that is indeed why I created Jigsquad.

The good folks at Do-it are well aware of Jigsquad, and you can even check out all past episodes.  Mr. Brennan Chapman himself has even been one of the spotlighted designers.

Come and check out Jigsquad on YouTube, subscribe, and join fellow jig makers that make our community a little bit stronger with every show.  I appreciate all of you for the designs you make.  Join the Jigsquad Revolution...it's free. 8)

Comment below if you have seen the shows, or if you have any questions.  We are stronger together.

Lots of respect,

Cuda
Jigsquad

I watched the show where you had Dan on. Not many in our tacklecrafting community have seen him in person so it was a special interview for us. He has helped a bunch of us over the years. Thank you for putting that together. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.

AP, you and me both.  I was surprised that over the years the podcast scene has not had Dan on.  I guess it all goes hand in hand with my intentions with all of this.  We have all learned a ton from Smalljaw and his presence needed to be memorialized with his own show appearance.  I think very highly of him as most jig makers do.

Gary, appreciate the support my man.

On another note, we have some good shows coming up in the next month.  Jen MacDonald from Tall Tale Jigs joins us on Thursday, April 28th at 7 PM Central.  She has some very cool hair jigs that I'm excited to talk about.  Even better, we get to spotlight a female designer.
