Crinkle powder paint

I know Jungle Jim has posted a couple short videos on you tube about it. Just wondering if anyone else has tried it?

I have never tried it and the only knowledge I have of it comes from a you tube video I seen where a gentleman airbrushed a crank bait with it.  The product had a Martha Stewart label on it and he claimed he got it from hobby lobby.  That's all I got. Hopefully someone else a little more knowledgeable will chime in.

I have three colors I picked up a few years ago from TJs Tackle.  I have a broze, copper, and silver.  I just used them like any other powder paint, so my jigs don't turn out as great as some of Jungle Jim's products.  For me I like it because it's different.   Can't say it catches me any more fish, but it is cool stuff.  I use it the most on hair jigs and some trolling baits I make using the yamamoto swimming jig mold.

Okay MG I was mistaken.  I went back to watch the video again (the guys channel is Clarkshillcustomlures if you are interested).  In any case the product he used is called Martha Stewarts crinkle effect and it is a brush on liquid not the powder.  Sorry for any misinfo.

It could be the same stuff.  I like the stuff I have from TJs.  I have looked a few times at the Illusion powder paint series on fishingskirts.com (https://www.fishingskirts.com/product-category/boss/lure-making/boss-jig-armor-powder-paint/).  It is cool looking stuff.  I think the real trick to it is layers of different colors that then crack over each other for cool effects.   Have fun with experimenting when you get your order.
