3” Caney Creek Glider questions
« on: 08/24/22 19:29 UTC »
Finally picked one up assuming the USPS gets it to me. It will be used primarily to target smallmouth, largemouth and maybe some salty fishes. Anyone want to give me some rigging or presentation techniques and maybe some color ideas that have worked for you?  I dug around in the archives and found some limited decent ideas. I anticipate doing some cut and paste tail colors and using the dual injector.

I have the 3" Glider and use it primarily for walleye/sauger. Depending on the flow rater this will fish well on a 1/8- 1/4 head just fine provided you're using a lighter line.... under 8 pound test. I use 6 pound for the walleye fishing in water to 30 feet deep.

The Glider is an easy and fun bait to tinker with, especially tail colors. With a twin injector you can make some super smallie colors. Pretty sure you'll like the mold.

I've though about this mold myself but never pulled the trigger. I've fooled around & got several different crappie molds now too so i'm scaling back a little on the mold ordering. The 45 i have will have to do for now.  ;D

You’d better just get another mold to be on the safe side

Ctom was right again. This is a pretty sweet mold. Can’t wait to field test these.
