Mine showed up on the 14th as well but Ma set it aside and didn't mention it until yesterday. I remember getting new Herters catalogs in the mail back in the mid-60's and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I'd study those suckers like I was possessed. These Do-It catalogs aren't any different. lol

Got mine yesterday also. Now I have to transfer all my written information from the old catalog into the new one. (I keep track of all the molds I have and what hooks I like to use in them and what degree of hook it is.) Any new buys get filled in as I get the new mold!

I remember as a kid my dad getting a Hester's catalog. If I remember right it had a buck deer facing a seahorse on the cover. For sure a staple in the hunting and fishing industry back in the day.

Herter's is where it all started for me at the ripe old age of about 12. At 13 I ordered a fly tying kits from Herters and had no idea of how to fish a fly. But I figured some of it out.
