Purple and Copper
« on: 03/28/24 15:03 UTC »
I think I showed this color last summer or early fall but in a smaller baits. It really came into its own last fall, and I just made these up as replacement baits. Pretty simple color really, just equal parts of purple and copper .015 in clear plastic with a touch of uv enhancer. I took this picture in the shade so the enhancer could come out a little as well as the glitters. Camera filters raise heck with pictures in the direct sunlight. The bluish glow is the enhancer popping out. These are done using the 2-1/4" small fry mold and Do-It components.

On the uv enhancer, I used a small b-b sized scoop in a "short" cup of plastic, maybe about 7/8. Any more and the glow from it is too much.
