Owner TwistLock hooks
« on: 06/25/12 15:18 UTC »
I have really been impressed with the new Owner TwistLock hooks for my CCM baits. The center pin really helps keep them screw in straight...and it seems like the "thread size" is perfect for CCM Medium plastic.

I've been using the un-weighted hooks...but would expect the weighted ones to work well also.

The hold very strong....significantly better than anything else I've tried. - Andy

I make them myself and save alot of money. I use the mustad hook.

Get the components from Barlows.

About $.30-.50 total depending on hook brand

Bill,

How do you make the centering pin? I think the pin really makes the difference.

Barlows used to sell that type, but I see they dont have them anymore.

I have no probs without it in a big enough bait.

That looks like the ticket! I'm going to order some and retrofit my hooks.
